Hi, Kenney Jones here. Some of you may know me as the drummer for The Small Faces, The Faces, and The Who.
Some years ago, I founded Nice Records with the aim of reissuing music I had the privilege of performing on in the past.
Over time, I’ve been able to acquire many of the original studio tapes—not only from The Small Faces recording sessions, but also from a wide range of artists associated with the groundbreaking Immediate record label of the 1960s.
The mission of Nice Records is to reissue what many consider classic albums, alongside previously unreleased, rare, and exclusive recordings. Every release is remastered from the original studio tapes and approved by the artists, where possible, who originally performed on the tracks. The artwork and design faithfully replicate the original albums, while being manufactured to a far higher standard using stronger, premium-quality materials. All vinyl releases are pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl, with CD editions also available.
I’ve assembled a small but exceptionally dedicated and talented team who share my passion for music. We are completely committed to ensuring that anyone who buys a Nice Records release will not be disappointed. Our uncompromising approach to quality guarantees the best possible versions of music that has endured through generations and changing trends.
I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved so far and encouraged by the attention and positive reviews we’ve received in both the UK and the US, from printed press as well as online reviewers and critics.
